The awards recognise and reward the\u00a0People,\u00a0Pride\u00a0and\u00a0Passion\u00a0of the industry, crowning 24 winners in an array of categories at its iconic ceremony, and once again honouring industry charity CRASH. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 1200 guests from across the industry gathered at The Grosvenor House Hotel on the 11th<\/sup> of July for a wonderful evening of entertainment, awards and delicious food. The evening commenced with a drink\u2019s reception, followed by a welcoming speech from Colin Marrs, Editor at Construction News.<\/p>\n

Chief Executive at CRASH, Trisha Pickersgill, captivated the audience with her speech about the challenges facing the homelessness and hospice sectors while outlining the importance of CRASH\u2019s vital work supporting these charities with their building projects.<\/p>\n

After dinner, comedian Russell Kane gave an entertaining performance and announced the award winners, with categories including Company Innovation of the Year, Rising Star and Project of the Year. CRASH would like to extend a huge congratulations to those who picked up awards on the night!<\/p>\n

A huge thank you to the guests who donated, raising an amazing \u00a313,279 in aid of CRASH. Your support is integral to CRASH’s mission and without these generous contributions, we could not continue our vital work. The donations will go towards helping people who are homeless and children and adults in hospice care, constructing places that care for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.<\/p>\n

The CRASH team could not have collected donations without the wonderful volunteers who gave their time to help.
