The CRASH Corporate Patron Forum returned this June, inviting guests from Corporate Patron companies who champion CRASH within their business to Gardiner and Theobald\u2019s London head office.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trialling a new format for this year, guests joined a series of collaborative group sessions\u00a0with fellow Corporate Patrons hosted by the CRASH team and guest speakers.<\/p>\n

Sessions covered CRASH\u2019s\u00a0current project portfolio, communications, fundraising and gave the opportunity to hear from\u00a0a hospice and homeless charity beneficiary\u00a0of CRASH.<\/p>\n

Homelessness charity, Branches Waltham Forest Churches Night Shelter shared details on their current CRASH project, a full refurbishment of a six-bed move on house in Waltham Forest. Guests listened to the importance of move-on accommodation, in a person’s journey from homelessness to independent living and heard the difference this project will make to the residents who will call this house a home.<\/p>\n

Trisha Pickersgill, Chief Executive at CRASH, provided an interesting insight into CRASH\u2019s support, having experienced the charity\u2019s help first-hand in her previous role at Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. CRASH helped the hospice to deliver two projects, a full ground floor re-configuration and refurbishment of their day hospice in St Albans and a car park upgrade at the same site.<\/p>\n

The CRASH Corporate Patron companies are the beating heart of CRASH.
